Unit 4 Math Review
Click Addition of Three-Digit Numbers: Type in numbers between 1 and 999 to add. Numbers are automatically entered into an equation; base ten pieces are created to match. If ten or more pieces are in any column, you must push the "regroup" button to continue solving the problem.
Click Drag and Drop Math Game: Drag and drop numbers to complete traditional algorithms. Type the final answer in the box to check. Choose from addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division, select the number of digits in each problem, and decide on the number of problems to complete.
Click Glowla's Estimation Contraption: Mentally round and add numbers and type in the answer. Round numbers to the tens place in the first level and progress to larger numbers.
Click Home Run Derby Math: Estimate your answer, click "done" and then "hit." Game may be played with addition, subtraction, or multiplication problems and emphasizes skills in rounding numbers.
Click At the Vets: Use online tools to measure the height, length, and weigh of animals at the vets. Uses centimeters and grams.
Click Horrendous Soup: Click and drag ingredients into a pot to make horrendous soup. Then view a recipe in which mass, capacity, and the distance of the ingredients must be converted to different metric measurements in order to get the recipe right.
Click Measure Capacity Complex: Pour the contents of containers into a measuring jug and read milliliters on the metric scale. Set the program for simple or complex scale readings.
Click Measurement Workshop: Using the "build" option, select a mode (whole numbers, whole and half numbers, decimals, or fractions), then click on the preferred type of measurement (imperial or metric) and use rulers to build a ruler city. In "play" mode, the buildings are created by the computer and players must measure them.
Click Measure It: View a segment next to a ruler and correctly identify its length. Levels include: easy inches (to the nearest half inch), medium inches (to the nearest fourth of an inch), hard inches (to the nearest eighth), and super brain inches (to the nearest sixteenth.)
Click The Ruler Game: Click on the ruler to identify a number.
